Our History - Your specialist since 1961.
End of the fifties the plastic industry was in its beginning but looked already for better technoligies to color plastics. In cooperation with leading additive and pigment producers Granula was founded 1961 in Meisterschwanden – Switzerland as one of the first European manufacturers of Masterbatch.
One of our earliest success stories was masterbatches for the production of PVC plastic roller shutters and garage doors.
1997 we opened up a new production facility in Merenschwand.
In order to strengthen our international presence we opened up in 2002 Granula GmbH as second production facility in Rudolstadt, Germany.
Today, as a well know and successfull Masterbatcher, we sell our color, additives and combination batches as well as compounds on European, African, middle East and Asian markets .
In 2011 GRANULA AG celebrates is 50th anniversary!
