Our History. Your specialist since 1961.

End of the fifties the plastic industry stood in their beginning. Improved techniques to color plastics in a more production friendly way were looked for. In co-operation with leading additive and pigment producers Granula was founded 1961 in Meisterschwanden – Switzerland as one of the first producer of masterbatch in Europe.

One of our earliest successful applications were masterbatches for the production of PVC plastic roll doors and profiles. Today we sell additive and master batches very successfully into whole of Europe, Africa, middle East and the United States.

1997 we opened up a new production facility in Merenschwand. In order to strengthen our international success we opened up 2002 Granula GmbH as second production facility in Rudolstadt (Thüringen), Germany. In 2005 the location in Switzerland was enlarged with a new warehouse.
